EU co-funded study visit of two German Youth Hostels which are multi-certificated, one located in the North-Eastern part of Germany (Mirow - mirow.jugendherbergen.de) and the other in the Western part of the country (Brilon - www.djh-wl.de/jh/brilon/), to give the opportunity to the participants to receive first hand information on how to develop, manage and certificate environmental education programmes. Moreover the participants learned about how non-formal environmental learning tools are implemented “in field” and how to adjust them to school curricula.
