Hotel Energy Solutions e-toolkit finalized

Time for next steps...
After three years of intensive work, the online toolkit aiming at improving youth hostels energy management and cutting costs, is finalized. The toolkit was tested in over 100 European properties.
The “UNWTO Hotel Energy Solutions Enduser Advisory Group” meeting took place on 30 August 2011 in Madrid. The meeting focused on partnership and dissemination strategy. On this occasion, EUFED was represented by Mariano Chiesa CEO of REAJ (the Spanish Youth Hostel Association) who commended the value of the toolkit taking into consideration that youth hostels around Europe require an important assessment of conditions of energy use in their buildings with old installations.
