YHA unveiled its latest development in sustainability recently in Cumbria. Eric Robson, Chairman of Cumbrian Tourism and a well-known radio presenter, officially opened the solar garden at YHA Eskdale on Wednesday 6th April. The garden consists of 18 solar panels in a rock garden complete with winding paths, ornamental pond and solar fountain. The panels will save a tonne of CO2 emissions and local and visiting schools will use the solar array as part of their studies. CLICK HERE to read more.
