Environmental features1. The Youth Hostel has been re-built in 2004 with different constraints of the HQE (High Environment Quality) system of building, a European system to prevent environment problems during the construction of new buildings.
2. The old Youth Hostel has been demolished in accordance with ecological rules, all the waste separated, noise has been reduced... 3. The structure of the building is made of wood and ecological material. No chemical products in the paintings... 4. We have a vegetable roof, which is expected to regulate the hygrometry of the environment. 5. Several actions are taken for the everyday organisation of the Hostel like energy-saving bulbs, double-flushing toilets, waste recycling....
